We stand behind the quality of our work. Just as we care about how well we service your timepiece, we care all the more once your timepiece leaves our capable hands.

Watch overhauls are completed with the latest ultrasonic cleaning equipment, electronically timed, adjusted, and pressure tested for water resistance to the capabilities of the watch. Please note cleaning or refinishing of the case and bracelet may result in noticeable scratches and wear. Watch overhauls are warrantied for a period of two years. The warranty does not cover watches which have been abused, tampered with, or if the watch shows signs of rust resulting from water damage. We are not responsible for worn or broken parts which were not necessary to replace at the time of the overhaul.

Water Resistance – We may pressure test your watch if that service is purchased and will verify that your watch passed the ISO standards for your watch before it has left Excel Watch Repair. We cannot guarantee water resistance after it leaves because we have no control over what might happen to the watch once it leaves Excel Watch Repair. 

Furthermore, we are not responsible for any watches that are sealed/pressure tested as there are many variables beyond our control. 

Exclusions of Warranty – The following are not covered under any warranty: Damage from Abuse, Neglect, Modification, Shock, Water Damage, Watch Bracelets, Watch Bands, Crystals, Crowns, Stems, Pusher buttons, Band repairs, Balance Staffs, mainsprings or repairs made by anyone other than Excel Watch Repair.  

In order to obtain warranty service, you will be required to submit the original repair number and an invoice of work executed. You will also need to submit the previously repaired watch to Excel Watch Repair for evaluation by our watchmaker. Should all the conditions of this warranty be met, your timepiece will be promptly repaired and shipped back to you!
